Our Team

Before founding Accell South Africa in 2020, Pieter accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the Electronic Fire and Security System industry, specialising in the Honeywell Notifier product portfolio. With Accell South Africa being a new player in the market, Pieter’s goals are to accelerate and excel this company to compete in the existing and emerging markets.

Pieter joined Honeywell in 2009, where he advanced to the level of Sales Leader for the Sub-Saharan Africa business Unit. Operating in the Fire Alarm & Voice Evac Systems, Pieter was, over the years, responsible for the commercial and industrial sales teams in Southern and East Africa to develop and grow the business.

By maintaining a high level of industry and product knowledge, his involvement with system design and consultation added value to Honeywell’s products, a key attribute which Pieter wants to focus on for service offerings from Access South Africa.

Before joining Honeywell, Pieter held several positions in this industry, stretching for over a decade. Some of his accolades include serving as technical director of Exys Security Systems (Pty) Ltd and director at EBI Installation & Integration Systems.

Experience and continuous personal development have resulted in Pieter specialising in the Installation, Integration, Commissioning, Support and Maintenance of Electronic Security Systems, such as Honeywell EBI / Tema / DVM Systems, Honeywell XL50 & 60 Fire Detection Systems, Intrusion Systems, Impro Access Control Systems, Sagem Biometric Systems, Digital Video Monitoring & Recording Systems, to name only a few.

Alicia Botha joined Accell South Africa since its inception in 2020. As vital part of our team, Alicia brings over 10 years of experience with her, including a four-year tenure with Honeywell, under the management of Pieter Mulder.

Her contribution to the Accell South Africa Team, is an extension of her involvement whilst under the Honeywell employ, which include specialized logistical, sourcing and customer support roles.

Earlier in her career, Alicia gained years of experience within the industry. Her valuable contribution ranges from knowledge in managerial, logistical, and administrative functions. Her highest accolade being Stores and Material Controller Manager, at Murray and Roberts. Alicia is continuing her involvement with this team here at Accell South Africa, with advanced knowledge of the Honeywell Products and Systems, as well as a qualification in Logistics Management.
