This is us!

Accell South Africa is a newly formed company, ready to accelerate and excel in the markets previously serviced by Honeywell. The year 2020 saw many economic consequences of the global COVID-19 pandemic, such as the withdrawal of the local Honeywell Fire business unit from the SADC region. 

With the main supplier not operating locally anymore, the demand for these products and services is still high. This created an opening in the market for Accell South Africa to compete in. 

Founded by Pieter Mulder, our team, consisting of former Honeywell employees, was created to continue our services but under the new brand of Accell South Africa. With Accell South Africa securing a Distribution agreement with Honeywell Middle East, we can continue to supply these products with the Honeywell brand, therefore supplying a product already established and trusted in the market. 

The initial strategy was to start Accell South Africa with the right Partners and the right People. With our partnership with Honeywell secured, the former team who operated under the employment of Honeywell South Africa was recruited to establish our workforce, already skilled, developed and experienced in and with the products, services and systems Honeywell offered. 

From the onset, our focus was to offer our services to our clients who came to trust the people in this team and to build on these relationships, which can strengthen future opportunities within new potential markets.
